Research Analist Pathology (HLO/WO)

De functie / The role
As part of the Translational Research group you will be working with various internal research teams. You will be responsible for performing research through pathology techniques to detect and quantify mRNA and protein expression. Both in normal as in diseased tissue. Techniques you will be working with are single/multiplex IHC, ISH (RNA) and quantative image analysis.
You will be responsible for the translation of scientific questions into experiments and perform these accordingly. Additionally, you will develop new singele and multiplex IHC/ISH tests. And be responsible of the proper documentation and interpretation of the data.
Het profiel / Your profile
For the position of Research Analist Pathology (HLO) we are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:
- A completed HLO education or equivalent;
- Candidates with a PhD will not be considered;
- You have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in the industry;
- Experience with immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in situ hybridization (ISH) using autotimer platforms;
- Experience with image analysis and data management;
- Experience with immunology, tumor biology, molecular pathology is highly preferred;
- You are fluent in Dutch and English.
Furthermore, we're looking for candidates that are capable of running multiple experiments at the same time, have excellent communicational skills and work well under a quality system. You are flexible, quality and goal oriented and have great attention to detail. Additionally, you have a great sense of responsibility and are driven to work together towards the development of novel medicines.
