The Internal communication Specialist develops and implements internal communications strategies for Sandoz Netherlands and drives the internal communications initiatives to foster the organizational culture, employees engagement and the Sandoz NL positioning within Novartis Group locally and globally. Ensure transparency and target specific communications initiatives approaching the needs of the Dutch organization through different channels.
He/She supports the function leads with internal communication needs and initiatives.
He/She also provides proactive support to the Country Head, with the day-to-day coordination of the Leadership Team and business administration management duties maximising the effectiveness and efficiency of the Leadership Team with routine operations (projects, meetings, minutes, communications, etc.). Develops and effectively execute a strong internal communications strategy and plan (in line with the Global strategy).
o Deploys effective Internal Communications platform for Sandoz in the NL by supporting development, preparation and implementation of company's activities and by implementing effective user-friendly communications tools such as: Sandoz NL newsletter, intranet, share point, Share meetings, Company meetings, social events, and recognition scheme communications to further drive the winning culture; Own the Town Hall agenda and organization.
o Drives adoption of new communications channels and innovative content creation.
o Develops and implements communication programs including disease awareness campaigns, employee engagement initiatives, and culture surveys. Involve communication champions as active member of this initiatives.
o Supports the D&I team with promoting diversity and inclusion within the organization;
o Promotes corporate brand promotion and cultural values of innovation, passion to win and customer focus among Sandoz employees Runs communication campaigns to raise Sandoz NL brand awareness within Novartis NL and within Sandoz Division globally;
o In collaboration with the group communication team develops and supports cross-divisional communication initiatives;
o Supports crisis-management communication planning, readiness and response capabilities.
o Supports the Sandoz Leadership team and the function leads with internal communication needs and initiatives. Supports with key messages, positioning & story telling
o Secures implementation of key Global/RE internal communications initiatives. Close collaboration with Global/RE Internal Communications. Be the Dutch internal communications "Go to person" for Global/RE
o Conducts pulse surveys & to evaluate effectiveness of communication & needs
o Works in close collaboration with Country Head, Human resources Head and Head Market Access & Stakeholder Mgmt. Provides proactive support to the Country Head, with the day-to-day coordination of the Leadership Team and business administration management duties maximising the effectiveness and efficiency of the Leadership Team with routine operations (meetings, minutes, communications, etc.).
Strong execution of internal communications strategy and against agreed activity plan Compliance with internal and regulatory requirements Positive feedback from stakeholders measured by employee survey Quality in the day-to-day activities.
Het profiel / Your profile
o Bachelors degree with focus on Communication.
o Dutch and English fluent
o At least 3 years experience in internal communications in large multinational organisations.
o Experience in Pharmaceutical industry would be beneficial.
o Effectual communicator verbally as well as through writing skills and with strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
o Able to operate effectively under pressure with autonomy.
o Able to deliver effective results, meet tight dead-lines and targets.
o Effective problem-solving skills.
o Strong project Management skills
o Proven ability to work effectively across a matrix-ed and widely-dispersed organization
o High level of initiative and the ability to learn new concepts quickly
o High level of accuracy, reliability, and availability
o Solid computer literacy skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Competent keyboard skills to produce accurate and well presented re-ports.
